WHO WE ARE

Hi, I’m Holly – the woman behind Esther & Albie (and the one wearing all the hats!). Pictured above, my biggest supporter Jessie and two beautiful children Zoe & Leo. I am a long lover of streetwear, and huge believer that motherhood and style can go hand-in-hand.

I didn’t start Esther & Albie, but I’ve been part of its story since day one. The brand was originally founded in 2017 in the mighty Manawatu by my good friend Alice. Ironically, I helped her choose some of the very first Esther & Albie designs during a girls’ weekend – just two mums chatting about life, babies, and clothes we wished existed. Fast-forward a few years, and during another one of those catch-ups, Alice mentioned she was thinking about selling the business. What started as a casual conversation over wine turned into a leap of faith – I bought Esther & Albie, not knowing just how much it would grow and shape my life.

Since then, the brand has moved with me to South Auckland and is still proudly run from my home. It’s been through the highs of raising young kids and the lows of surviving a global pandemic, but it’s never lost sight of what it’s all about – creating stylish, practical breastfeeding clothes that help women feel confident and empowered.

WHAT WE DO

We design classic, stylish, and easy-to-wear breastfeeding clothing that you can throw on and feel instantly good in EVERYDAY.

Every piece is designed with discretion, comfort, and flattering cuts in mind – because we know how much it matters when everything else feels like it’s changing.

Our breastfeeding dresses, tops, crew sweaters, and loungewear are thoughtfully designed here in New Zealand and made from high-quality, durable fabrics that last well beyond the newborn phase.
